On behalf of the team I am happy to announce the public release of the first beta version of Nuke-Evolution. I would like to personally thank everyone for their hard work on this project.
Before you install you should read the following:
There is currently no upgrade directions or scripts for any other Nuke version or distro. Those will be released with the next release. I know, I am sorry, but there just wasn't enough time.
Also the next release should contain many more help documents, plus more supplementary add-ons. Again there was just too little time.
Some people have also begun to translate the versions. So be ready for more languages in the next release as well.
It should be noted that this is a beta release. Though we feel it's pretty stable and we have flushed many of the bugs, it's not prefect and I am sure there will be some issues. So it's up to you if you want to use this in a live environment or not.
Future releases will contain upgrade scripts as well as manual file upgrade documents to help everyone move from version to version.
IMPORTANT!!!
If the installer fails to chmod the config.php you must stop!! Delete the install.php file and install folder, then follow the manual install instructions included in the package.
